Police request assistance with Robbery investigation, Weston Road and Highway 401 area, Security camera images released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance with a Robbery investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at approximately 7:40 p.m., two men and two woman attended an address in the Weston Road and Highway 401 area

- a 24-year-old woman was approached by a woman in the elevator, who advised she was going to rob her

- the woman attempted to flee the elevator

- she was then approached by two men and another woman, who all swarmed her

- the woman was assaulted multiple times and robbed

Police are seeking the public’s assistance identifying a man involved in this robbery.

He is described as white, approximately 18-22, 6'2", dark shaggy hair, with a slim-to-medium build. He was wearing a jacket with a large Montreal Canadiens emblem on the back.

Security camera images of the man are being released.
