On Friday, December 12, 2014, at 6:40 p.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at Coxwell Avenue at Cosburn Avenue.
It is reported that:
- a 78-year-old man was driving a 2007 Toyota Corolla, northbound on Coxwell Avenue, attempting to make a left turn to westbound Cosburn Avenue
- a 42-year-old man was attempting to cross Cosburn Avenue, from the south side to the north side, on the west side of the intersection
- the man was struck as the vehicle made the left turn
The man suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital, where he was pronounced.
