The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with a Sexual Assault Investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Monday, December 1, 2014, at approximately 8:30 a.m., police were approached by a woman who reported her young daughter had been inappropriately touched by an unknown man at Union Station.
- she pointed out the suspect to the officers
- the man fled as the officers approached him
- officers engaged in a brief foot pursuit
- the man was able to make good his escape
- when officers returned to speak to the woman and her daughter, they had left without leaving the officers any contact information
Police are asking the woman and her daughter, and anyone with information relating to the victim or witnesses, to contact investigators.
