On Friday, November 21, 2014, around the noon hour, a construction crew in the Kingston Road and Victoria Park Avenue area, working on repairs to the road, struck a gas line.
The area has been evacuated and people will not be permitted to return to their businesses and homes for up to eight hours.
People in the area are advised to stay away and refrain from using any electric, gas or flame-powered appliances.
