Public assistance sought with investigation into parking lot Assault

The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with an Assault investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, at approximately 3:40 p.m., two men were in the parking lot of Home Depot, at 90 Billy Bishop Way, in the Dufferin Street/Wilson Avenue area

- the two became involved in a dispute

- one of the men, 50, was slashed in the head

He was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening, injuries

The other man is described as 30-35, with an olive or dark complexion, 5'7"-5'10", 170-185 lbs. He was wearing a hat/toque with a Toronto Maple Leaf emblem, a dark winter jacket and blue jeans.

He was driving what's believed to be an older-model red van.
