On Monday, November 10, 2014, at 5:50 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Dixon Road and Islington Avenue.
It is reported that:
− a 14-year-old boy was attempting to cross Dixon Road from the north side to the south side, east of Islington Avenue
− a 30-year-old woman was driving a 1996 Honda Civic westbound on Dixon Road, in the passing lane
− the boy was struck by the vehicle
The boy was transported to hospital suffering from life-threatening injuries.
