On Tuesday, November 4, 2014 at 4:40 p.m., police responded to a call for a personal injury collision at Perth Avenue at Dupont Street.
It is reported that:
- a 70-year-old woman was attempting to cross Perth Avenue, from the west side to the east side, on the north side of the intersection
- a 45-year-old man, was driving a 2008 Ford F250, eastbound on Dupont Street, attempting to turn left to go northbound on Perth Avenue
- the pedestrian was struck by the vehicle as it made the left turn.
The woman suffered life-threatening injuries and was taken to hospital.
