Public Safety Alert, Robbery, purse-snatches, Spadina Avenue and Queen Street West area Update, security camera images of suspects released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance identifying two men wanted for a number of purse-snatches in the Spadina Avenue and Queen Street West area.

See previous release.

It is now reported that:

- on Monday, October 20, 2014, at approximately 7:25 p.m., a 51-year-old woman was walking on Cameron Street

- a man approached her from behind, threw her to the ground, then grabbed her purse

- he was last seen running towards Vanauley Walk

He is described as black, light skin, in his 20s, wearing a black jacket and black pants

Police have obtained security camera images of the suspects involved in the purse-snatching on Sunday, October 19, 2014, at approximately 3:30 p.m., on Cameron Street .

Suspect #1 is described as wearing yellow pants, a dark hoodie with light sleeves or a light sweatshirt with a dark vest.

Suspect #2 is described as wearing dark glasses, a grey hoodie with a white band on the the hood and with light sleeves or a a grey hoodie with a band on the hood and a light vest, dark pants and white shoes.
