The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a report of a sexual assault on Wednesday, April 17, 2013, at approximately 4:50 a.m.
It is reported that:
- a woman was on her way to enter Vari Hall on the York University campus when a man on a bicycle approached her and tried to engage her in conversation
- the woman refused and tried to enter the building, when the man sexually assaulted her
- the woman pushed the man away and he fled on his bicycle
The man is described as black, 56-57, 18-21, skinny build, 90-120 lbs., with a thin face and nose. He was wearing a black toque, dark jacket, possibly dark-brown or black, worn-out, thin winter jacket, dark khaki pants, and black shoes.
