Police request public's assistance with Robbery investigation, Security camera images released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with a Robbery investigation.

On Wednesday, October 8, 2014, at 5:30 p.m., a man, 18, was stabbed and robbed of his necklace in the Bellamy Road and Eglinton Avenue East area.

It is reported that:

- a man, 18, was waiting for a GO Train at Kennedy Station

- he was approached by another man who demanded his gold chain

- the victim refused and a fight ensued

- during the fight, the man, 18, was stabbed several times

- he was then robbed of his gold chain

- he chased the suspect to a nearby footpath

- realizing he had been injured, he returned to the GO Station

- he spoke to officers, then was taken to hospital, suffering from a number of cuts and a collapsed lung

- the suspect was captured on a nearby security camera

He is described as 25, 6'0", 175 lbs., black hair and a moustache. He was wearing a black varsity jacket over a black hooded sweater, blue jeans and a baseball cap.
