On Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at approximately 10 p.m., police were called to the Eglinton Avenue West and Oakwood Avenue area for a stabbing.
It is reported that:
- a woman and a man were stabbed in a home
- the woman fled to get help
Police located the man with obvious injuries. He was pronounced at the scene.
The deceased man has been identified as Belo Brandon, 29.
The woman, in her early 30s, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
On Sunday, October 5, 2014, Alexander Jones, 32, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Second Degree Murder
2) Attempt Murder
He is scheduled to appear on Monday, October 6, 2014 at 10 a.m., at 1000 Finch Avenue West.
