On Sunday, September 28, 2014, at 9:30 p.m., three men robbed a neighborhood convenience store located near Dovercourt Road and College Street.
It is alleged:
- a man attended the store and posed as a customer
- the man left the store and advised two young persons that the store employee was alone in the store
- the two young persons then entered the store wearing a disguise
- they approached the store employee and one of the young persons produced a handgun and pointed it at the employee
- they made a demand for money and TTC tokens
- during the robbery a customer entered the store and a handgun was pointed at him
- they obtained a quantity of money and tokens and fled the area
Two young persons have been arrested.
A boy, 17, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Robbery with Firearm
2) Disguise with Intent
3) Possession for the Purpose - Marihuana CDSA
4) Possession Marihuana - CDSA
5) Possession of Property Obtained by Crime

Both young persons appeared at Old City Hall Court on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 10 a.m.
The identity of the Young Person cannot be released under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act
Elijah Bryan, 19, of Toronto has been charged with:
1) Robbery with firearm
He appeared at Old City Hall Court on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 at 10 a.m.
Some of the stolen items and a black semi-automatic handgun were recovered.
