On Monday, September 29, 2014, at approximately 3:20 a.m., police responded to call for gunshots in the Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road area.
Officers arrived to find a man suffering from life-threatening injuries. He succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The man has now been identified as Dillon Phillips, 22, of Toronto.
Police are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has any information on Dillon's whereabouts for the last 24 hours prior the homicide.
