The Toronto Police Service is requesting the publics assistance with a shooting investigation.
On Saturday, September 27, 2014, shortly after 11 p.m., in the area of Morningside Avenue and Staines Road, three men in a vehicle were stopped at the side of the road.
It is alleged that:
- a vehicle with four or five unknown men stopped beside the vehicle and engaged them in a conversation
- the vehicle attempted to leave the area when the other vehicle began to follow it through the residential streets
- one of the unknown men discharged a firearm at the vehicle
There were no injuries but the vehicle was damaged from the gunshot. The suspects were last seen leaving the area of Morningside Avenue and Staines Road.
They are described as brown, between the ages of 18-20 years old. They were driving an older model 4-door Honda Civic, dark in colour with tinted windows.
