On Wednesday, September 24, 2014, police executed a search warrant in the Steeles Avenue West and Keele Street area.
It is alleged that:
- as a result of the search, police located a loaded 9mm handgun and a quantity of marihuana.
Ishaka Kadeem Nembhard, 22, and Shaquilah Gabriel-Mcdonald, 21, of Toronto, have both been charged with:
1) Possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition
2) Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
3) Possession of firearm obtained by the commission of an offence
4) Unauthorized possession of a firearm
5) Careless storage of a firearm
6) Unauthorized possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle
7) Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
8) Possession of Marihuana for the Purpose of Trafficking
9) Possession of Marihuana
10) Possession of Marihuana
11) Possession of Proceeds of Crime
They were both scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall, on Thursday, September 25, 2014.
