On Monday, September 8, 2014, at 5:19 p.m., police received a call for a fight in the Danforth Avenue and Dawes Road area.

The deceased has now been identified as Dwayne Goodwin, 22, of Toronto.
Homicide has arrested and charged two people in this investigation.
Vaughn Shears, 19, of Toronto, has been charged with:
1) Second-Degree Murder
2) Attempted Murder
A boy, 16, of Toronto, has also been charged with:
1) Second-Degree Murder
2) Attempted Murder
Her cannot be named under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Investigation has revealed the identity of a third man, and four others sought in this investigation.
Mehmet Akkurt, 22, of Toronto, is now wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant for:
1) Second-Degree Murder
2) Attempt Murder
Police urge him, and the others, to seek and obtain legal counsel, and surrender to police at any police station.
A copy of the video of the fight is now released.
