On Saturday, September 6, 2014, at 3 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a sexual assault in the Dundas Street West and McCaul Street area.
It is alleged that:
- a woman entered a home through an unlocked front door
- the woman then confronted the tenants of the home and threatened to pepper spray them
- the woman then sexually assaulted a man
On Saturday, September 6, 2014, Hicham Laghzaoui, 38, of Toronto was arrested.
She has been charged with:
1) Unlawfully in a dwelling
2) three counts of Assault with a Weapon
3) Sexual Assault
4) Possession Prohibited Weapon
She was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Monday, September 8, 2014, at 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be more victims.
The Toronto Police Service would like to remind the public, specifically university and college students, of the importance of securing their residence at all times.
