The Toronto Police is requesting the public's assistance identifying two men wanted in a Robbery investigation.
On Monday, August 4, 2014, at 3:47 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a robbery in the College Street and Spadina Avenue area.
It is reported that:
- a man met a group of men at Bloor Street West, near Spadina Avenue
- they all decided to attend a club together in the College Street and Spadina Avenue area
- on the way to the club, the men lured the man into a laneway and attacked him
- he was struck in the face with a brick and tackled to the ground
- the men continued to strike the man with the brick until he stopped resisting.
- the men took a quantity of cash, along with his personal belongings, and fled in an unknown direction.
- the man sustained non-life-threatening injuries
Security camera images of two of the men have been released.
