On Saturday, August 30, 2014, at approximately 2:30 a.m., police responded to calls for an Assault in the Bloor Street West and Concord Avenue area.
Upon arrival, officers found a man severely beaten, with no vital signs. He was taken to hospital but subsequently succumbed to his injuries.
Witnesses have been located and are co-operating with police. Based on security camera images which have been recovered in the area, investigators believe there are additional witnesses who have not yet contacted police. Investigators are requesting the assistance of anyone who was in the area and has not yet contacted police.
The victim has been identified as Jorge Interiano, 40, a resident of the area where this occurred.
