In the early hours, today, TPS Divisional officers, along with the Emergency Task Force and the Gun & Gang Task Force, executed warrants across the GTA, and beyond, assisted by officers from York Regional Police and Niagara Regional Police Service.
The targets of Project Yellowbird are a number of people police will allege targeted high-value homes, stole jewellery, electronics and luxury accessories, as well as associated high-value vehicles.
Police have made a number of arrests and seized extremely significant amounts of property.
The news conference will be broadcast live on the Bell TOC and livestreamed in HD.
