The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to a Sexual Assault investigation and requesting the public's assistance with any information.
On Thursday, August 21, 2014, the Toronto Police Service investigated a report of a sexual assault.
It is reported that:
- at approximately 2 a.m., a woman, 18, was out for a run in the MacDonald Avenue and Pine Street area.
- a man approached her from behind and knocked her to the ground
- he then sexually assaulted her
- a nearby person came to the woman's aid and called 9-1-1
- the man was last seen running in a southerly direction
The man is described as mid-20's, brown skin, 5'6", slicked-back black hair, wearing a v-neck T-shirt, dark jeans and a chain-like necklace.
