Attempt Murder, Nathaniel Evans, 18, arrested, Tajhai Vanluien, 18, outstanding

On Monday, August 18, 2014, at 1:15 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a shooting in the Dixon Road and Islington Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- two men met with another man at the rear of a building and got into an argument

- the man was shot multiple times

- the two men fled the area

- the man was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries

On Thursday, August 21, 2014, Nathaniel Evans, 18, of Toronto, was arrested.

He is charged with:

1) Conspiracy to commit murder
2) Attempt murder
3) Aggravated assault
4) Discharge firearm attempt to wound
5) Point firearm
6) Unauthorized possession of a firearm
7) Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
8) Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
9) Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order.

He is scheduled to appear in court at 2201 Finch Avenue West on Thursday, August 21, 2014, 10 a.m.,

Tajhai Vanluien, 18, of Toronto, is wanted for:

1) Conspiracy to commit murder
2) Attempt murder
3) Aggravated assault
4) Discharge firearm attempt to wound
5) Point firearm
6) Unauthorized possession of a firearm
7) Possession of a firearm knowing its possession is unauthorized
8) Possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order
9) Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order
