On Thursday, August 8, 2014, at 8:50 a.m., Toronto Police received a call for an Assault at 1021 Birchmount Road.
It is alleged that:
- a woman, in her 20s, was arguing with a man
- the man punched her in the face
- he would not let her leave the apartment
- over the next several hours she was held against her will and beaten
- she was tied up in the bedroom, then the man left
- she was able to break free and go to a neighbour for help
- he returned later and forced entry into the apartment
- the woman was taken to hospital
Christpher Walker, 30, of Toronto, is wanted for the following offences:
1) Assault Cause Bodily Harm
2) Forcible Confinement
3) two counts of Fail to Comply with Probation
4) Break-and-Enter
If you see him, do not approach. Call police at 9-1-1.
