On Saturday, August 9, 2014, the Toronto Police Service will host the Law Enforcement Torch Ride. This is an annual motorcycle ride that brings like-minded individuals from all over Southern Ontario together to support the Special Olympics. Riders will begin their journey in Toronto at Scarborough Town Centre, 300 Borough Drive, and ride to Peterborough.
The ride is organized as part of the Ontario Law Enforcement Torch Ride for Special Olympics. The Law Enforcement Torch Ride is a celebration of the motorcycle industry, motorcycle enthusiasts, Law Enforcement Motorcycle Clubs/Emergency Services and their support of Special Olympics Ontario.

- 8 a.m.: Assemble at the Scarborough Town Centre
- 9 a.m.: Torch Ride will begin! There will be a staggered start of about 6-8 riders on a route established by the Toronto Police Service Motor Squad
- 2 p.m.:-3 p.m.: Arrive in Peterborough after taking a scenic route
- 5 p.m.: Torch Ride wrap-up
