The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m, inside Fairview Mall, a man sexually assaulted three women and a girl

On Thursday, August 7, 2014, Selvarajah Mahendirarajah, 50, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) three counts of Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Assault on a Person Under 16
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1000 Finch Avenue West on Friday, August 8, 2014, at 10 a.m., courtroom 306,
The Toronto Police Service would like to thank the media and the public for their assistance identifying the man, and assistance with the investigation.
Police believe there may be more victims.
