The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a number of evening street robberies over the past month in the Finch Avenue East and Leslie Street area. All of the victims were women who were walking alone and had their purses snatched by a man.
He is described as black, in his 20s, 5'7"-5'9", thin build, usually wearing dark clothing and a hoodie covering his head.
The Toronto Police Service is concerned that he may be escalating in violence and urge residents of this area to exercise caution when walking alone at night.
