Police request assistance with an assault with a weapon investigation, Surveillance camera images of suspect released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public in identifying a suspect involved in a stabbing investigation.

It is reported that:

- on Wednesday, June 11, 2014, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the victim was involved in an altercation with a man near Bay Street and Albert Street.

- during the altercation, it is alleged the man stabbed the victim with a knife and fled the scene.

- the victim was transported to hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

The man is described as black, heavy build, 5'10", with short black hair and brown eyes. He is known to wear prescription glasses. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a white design and black pants.
