Police request assistance identifying a man and woman wanted in a robbery investigation, Security camera images released

The Toronto Police Hold Up Squad is requesting the public’s assistance identifying a man and woman wanted in a robbery investigation.

On Tuesday, February 19, 2013, at 11 p.m., it is alleged that:

- a man and woman entered Starbank Convenience, located at 340 College Street

- they browsed the store aisles, then approached the store attendant and a 10" knife was pulled out

- the attendant fled in fear

- the man walked behind the counter and took a quantity of money from the cash register and they both ran from the store and into an awaiting vehicle

The vehicle is described as a light-coloured four-door sedan.

The man is described as Aboriginal, 6’2", 250 lbs., glasses with black frames. He was wearing a striped sweater, black winter jacket and black Adidas pants with three white stripes down the sides.

The woman is described as Aboriginal, mid 20’s, 5’, with long black hair. She was wearing a camouflage jacket with fur trimmed-hood, black top with a round native Mohawk symbol.
