From Friday, July 18, 2014, to Sunday, July 20, 2014, the Honda Indy will take place in Toronto.
Road closures will begin on Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at 12 p.m., as follows:
Southbound on Strachan Avenue will be closed from Fleet Street to Lake Shore Boulevard West.
Lake Shore Boulevard West will be closed from Strachan Avenue to British Columbia Drive at 8 p.m.
These roads will remain closed all weekend, and are scheduled reopen on Sunday, July 20, 2014, at 11 p.m.
Due to the extensive road closures, motorists can expect significant delays in the area. Police strongly recommend anyone attending the Honda Indy should take public transit. Both the TTC and Go Transit will be increasing service to Exhibition Place.
