The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- on Friday, July 11, 2014, a 10-year-old boy attended a day camp at the University Presbyterian Church, 1830 Finch Avenue West
- the boy was in the washroom
- the boy was sexually assaulted in the washroom
On Friday, July 11, 2014, Kamal Thomas, 20, of Toronto, was arrested. He is charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
2) Sexual Interference
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, July 12, 2014, courtroom 101.
Police believe there may be more victims.
