The Toronto Police Service is seeking the public's assistance with an Assault Cause Bodily Harm investigation.
It is reported that:
- some time between the late hours of Tuesday, July 1, 2014, and early hours of Wednesday, July 2, 2014, two groups of youths were in the Queen Street East/Woodbine Avenue area following the Canada Day Fireworks celebration
- a physical altercation ensued between the groups
- during the altercation, a 16-year-old boy sustained serious injuries
