The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest in a Child Sexual Assault investigation.
On a day between May and June 2014, a girl, 12, was in her home in the Midland Avenue and Lawrence Avenue East area.
It is alleged that:
- she was approached by a man who started a conversation with her
- he asked her for a hug
- before she could reply, the man sexually assaulted her
On Thursday, June 19, 2014, a girl, 15, was in the Midland Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East area.
It is alleged that:
- she was approached by a man who began a conversation with her
- in the middle of the conversation, he asked her for a hug
- before she could reply, the man sexually assaulted her
On Friday, July 4, 2014, Orfan Azizi, 33, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with:
1) two counts of Sexual Assault
2) two counts of Sexual Interference
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, July 5, 2014, 10 a.m., Room 101.
Investigators believe there may be more victims.
