The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of an arrest made in a Sexual Assault investigation.
It is reported that:
- on Wednesday, July 2, 2014, at 10:40 p.m., a 23-year-old woman was walking to her car in the Scarborough Town Centre area

On Friday, July 4, 2014, at approximately 6 p.m., a 17-year-old boy, of Toronto, surrendered to police. He is charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at 1911 Eglinton Avenue East, on Monday, August 18, 2014.
Following the arrest, and discovery of the suspect's age, the security camera image can no longer be published under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Please refer to Section 110, Subsection 1, of the YCJA:
110. (1) Subject to this section, no person shall publish the name of a young person, or any other information related to a young person, if it would identify the young person as a young person dealt with under this Act.*
