On Tuesday, July 1, 2014, the City of Toronto Parks and Recreation, Scarborough District, will be hosting its 46th annual Scarborough Canada Day Parade.
The following road closures will run from 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.:
Brimley Road, from Progress Avenue to Ellesmere Road
Omni Drive, from Brimley Road to Borough Drive
The following road closures will run from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.:
Brimley Road, from Progress Avenue to Lawrence Avenue East
Parade route formation area will start at 4 p.m.:
Brimley Road, from Progress Avenue to Ellesmere Road
Southbound from Brimley Road
Dispersal area will be Brimley Road, north of Lawrence Avenue East (at Thompson Memorial park)
The TTC may experience some minor delays during this event.
Motorists are advised to consider the road closures when planning their travels.
The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.
