On Sunday, June 29, 2014, at 1 p.m., the annual Pride Parade will take place in Toronto's downtown core.

The parade traditionally attracts an extremely large crowd. It is expected that the number of celebrants will be increased this year as Toronto hosts World Pride. The Toronto Police request the cooperation of the community and media to help make the parade safe and enjoyable for all.

Due to the size of the crowd the parade will be bottlenecked at the intersections of Church Street and Bloor Street East, and Yonge Street and Carlton Street.

Media zones have been set up at these intersections and professional media camera operators are invited to take their photos and videos from these designated areas. The media may proceed with the parade according to the restrictions on their press passes, we only wish to coordinate access to the parade at these two intersections in the interest of public safety and to facilitate an orderly event.
