On Thursday, June 19, 2014, the Toronto Police Service alerted the public to a sexual assault investigation and requested the public's assistance identifying a man.

On Friday, June 20, 2014, police arrested Jonathan Vasquez, 33, of Toronto. He has been charged with:
1) Sexual Assault
2) Overcome Resistance by Attempting to Choke
He appeared in court at Old City Hall on Saturday, June 20, 2014, room 101.
