Police request the public's assistance in two robbery investigations, Beverley Street and Dundas Street West

The Toronto Police Service are requesting the public's assistance with two robbery investigations.

On Sunday, June 22, 2014, at 3:05 a.m., a man, 22, was walking in the Cecil Street and Beverley Street area.

It is reported that:

- he was approached by three men

- they made a demand for his wallet and cell phone

- he refused

- he was attacked by the three men and beaten

- a passing motorist stopped and the three men fled on BMX bikes

On Monday, June 23, 2014, at 7:40 p.m., a man, 32, was walking on the sidewalk in the Beverley Street and Dundas Street West area.

- he was approached by three men

- they asked him for the time

- when he pulled out his cell phone, one man grabbed it from his hand

- he was then beaten

- the three men fled in an unknown direction

The three men are described as:

1) Asian, 5'11", heavy set, wearing dark clothing

2) Black, 5'7", thin build, deep accented voice and wearing dark clothing

3) 5'9", thin build, wearing a bandana over his face and dark clothing

Both men attacked in these incidents received serious injuries.
