The Toronto Police Service is alerting the public to an arrest in a historical sexual assault investigation.
It is alleged that:
- in July 1971, a man sexually assaulted a boy in the Pickering/Scarborough area
- the man frequented a swimming pool located on the north-side of Kingston Road, (Hwy #2), just west of Altona Road in the Rouge Hill area.
He is described as white, 5'6" to 5'8", medium build, blue eyes, wears glasses, and has receding line with black hair.
Jackie Irwin Polsun, 76, of Thornhill, is charged with:
1) Two counts of Gross Indecency
2) Buggery
Police believe there may be more victims.
