The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a suspicious incident.
It is reported that:
- on Friday, June 13, 2014, at approximately 12:40 p.m., an eight-year-old girl was walking in the Gerrard Street East/Coxwell Avenue area
- a man, driving by, called out to the girl and tried to convince her to look inside his car
- the girl walked away
The man is described as white, 25-35, with an average build, blonde hair, clean shaven, and numerous tattoos on his arms. He was wearing a short-sleeved T-shirt and jeans.
He was driving a silver or grey colour, older model hatchback.
Parents are reminded to speak to their children about safety practices when approached by strangers.
