Media advisory "Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Initiative" Woodbine Racetrack, 555 Rexdale Boulevard, Monday, June 16, 2014, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Tuesday, June 17, 2014, 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On Monday, June 16, 2014, at 7:30 a.m., Traffic Services, in partnership with 23 Division, will be kicking off a Commercial Motor Vehicle Safety Initiative. This initiative will be a two-day enforcement campaign beginning on Monday, June 16, 2014, at 7:30 a.m. and ending on Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at 3 p.m. This initiative will be held at the Woodbine Racetrack, 555 Rexdale Boulevard.

The focus of this initiative will be commercial motor vehicle safety and tow truck and taxi enforcement. This initiative will be a multi-jurisdictional operation involving the following services:

- Toronto Police Service
- Ontario Provincial Police
- Peel Regional Police Service
- York Regional Police Service
- Halton Regional Police Service
- South Simcoe Police Service
- Waterloo Regional Police Service
- Barrie Police Service
- Aylmer Police Service
- Durham Regional Police Service
- Royal Canadian Mounted Police
- Ontario Ministry of Transportation
- Environment and Revenue Field Office
- Canada Border Services
- Toronto By-Law Enforcement Office
