On Sunday, June 8, 2014, Autism Speaks Canada will hold their annual charity walk in the downtown area.
The event will start at 8 a.m., at Nathan Phillips Square. Event organizers anticipate over 7,500 participants.
Walkathon route: (starts at 10:45 a.m.)
Formation Area: Nathan Phillips Square (southwest corner)
Westbound : Queen Street West (north sidewalks and westbound curb lane)
Northbound: University Avenue (northbound lanes - full road)
Turnaround: at College Street (just south of University Ave.)
Southbound: University Avenue (northbound lanes - full road)
Eastbound: Armoury Street (full road)
Dispersal Area: Nathan Phillips Square
Motorists should be aware there will be traffic congestion and delays on many of the nearby streets.
