On Thursday, June 5, 2014, at 9:19 a.m., the Toronto Police Service received a call for a sexual assault in the area of Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue.
It is alleged that:
- a woman, 27, was walking in the Clinton Street and Harbord Street area
- she was approached by a man and sexually assaulted
- the man continued walking down the street
- another woman, 47, was walking in the Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue area
- she was approached and sexually assaulted by the same man
Police arrived to investigate and arrested Martin Jambrits, 47, of Toronto. He has been charged with:
1) two counts of Sexual Assault
He is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Friday, June 6, 2014, room 101, at 10 a.m.
Police believe there may be more victims.
