Public Safety Alert, Suspicious Incident, Yonge Street and Roxborough Street West

The Toronto Police Service would like to make the public aware of a suspicious incident in the Yonge Street and Roxborough Street West area.

It is reported that:

- on Friday, May 16, 2014, a group of young girls was approached by an unknown man in the Yonge Street and Roxborough Street area

- one of the girls dropped an item and the unknown man reached down to pick up the item

- he handed the item to the young girl and began leering at her

- he then left the area


It is later reported that:

- on Friday, May 30, 2014, between 11:45 a.m. and 12:45 p.m, a group of young girls was approached by an unknown man in the Yonge Street and Roxborough Street West area

- he approached two of the girls in the store and began leering at them

- an employee of the store told the man to leave

- he then approached another girl in the parking lot

- a passerby told the young girl to leave at which point the unknown man fled the area

He is described as white, approximately 5'10", in his 30's and walks with a limp. He was wearing a grey baseball hat and a grey shirt.
