Walk for Values, Sunday, June 1, 2014, 10:30 a.m., Rolling road closures

On Sunday, June 1, 2014, the 12th annual Walk For Values walk-a-thon is taking place at Nathan Phillips Square. The event will begin at Nathan Phillips Square at 10:30 a.m. It will wind its way through the city returning to Nathan Phillips Square at 1:30 p.m.

A rolling road closure will take place in association with the walk-a-thon. Street curb lanes along the route will be closed in the direction of the walk-a-thon, ie: eastbound curb lane only as the parade moves eastbound along Gerrard Street East. All other lanes will be allowed to flow.

Rolling Road Closure Route: 10:30 a.m., – 1:30 p.m.

Queen Street West - westbound curb lane & lay-by only
Bay Street To University Avenue
University Avenue - northbound curb lane only
Queen Street West to Gerrard Street West
Gerrard Street West - eastbound curb lane only
University Avenue to Yonge Street
Yonge Street - southbound curb lane only
Gerrard Street West to Queen Street West
Queen Street West - westbound curb lane only
Yonge Street to York Street
End: Nathan Phillips Square

The event will proceed regardless of weather conditions.

Traffic delays are expected along the route.
