The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance in a Break and Enter investigation.
On Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 12 p.m., 42 Division officers observed two men who had just committed a Break and Enter in the Brimley Road and Sheppard Ave East area.
One man was arrested a short distance away. As a result of this arrest a search warrant was executed at a residence near Birchmount Road and Finch Avenue East. A Remmington 700 bolt action rifle with scope was recovered. It had been reported stolen during another Break and Enter, in York Region, in January, 2014.
The second man fled from police. He has now been identified as Tyrell Piercey, 19, of Toronto.
He is wanted for:
1) Break and Enter
A picture of him has been included. Police believe that he is dangerous and should not be approached. Please call 911 if he is seen.
