Police request assistance with Theft Under investigation, Photographs of suspect and his vehicle released

The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with a Theft Under investigation.

On Friday, March 21, 2014, at approximately 1:30 a.m., a man entered a coffee shop in the Bloor Street West and Spadina Avenue area.

It is alleged that:

- the man stole another patron's laptop and cell phone and ran out of the store

- once outside the store, he got into a late-model, grey, four-door Chrysler 200 sedan and drove off, westbound, on Bloor Street West

Police are seeking the public's assistance identifying the man.

He is described as black, 20-30, 5'7"-5'9", with a medium build. He was wearing a black Moose Knuckles-brand jacket with fur around the hood, dark pants and had on a pair of prescription glasses.

He was videotaped on the CCTV system and images of the suspect and his vehicle are attached to this news release.
