On Monday, April 14, 2014 Toronto Police Hold Up charged a 17-year-old boy with a series of five retail robberies.
It is alleged that:
- between Monday, February 17, 2014 and Tuesday, March 25, 2014, the boy attended two gas stations and three variety-type stores, disguised with a towel covering his face
- he produced a knife and demanded cash from the victims.
He faces the following charges:
1) Robbery (five counts)
2) Disguise with Intent (five counts)
3) Weapons Dangerous (five counts)
He was scheduled to appear in court at College Park on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, room 501.
The name of the boy cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
