On Wednesday, April 9, 2014, at 10:05 a.m., police responded to a personal injury collision at Steeles Avenue West and Torresdale Avenue.
It is reported that:
− a woman, 63, was driving a Nissan Maxima westbound on Steeles Avenue West, turning left to southbound Torresdale Avenue
− a boy, 17, was driving a Subaru Impreza eastbound on Steeles Avenue, approaching Torresdale Avenue,
− the Nissan was struck by the Subaru while making the left turn.
The driver of the Nissan was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Police would like to speak to any witnesses to this collision. It is believed there were two cars stopped at the intersection.
