The Toronto Police Service is requesting the public's assistance with an Assault/Extortion investigation in the Lake Shore Boulevard and Legion Road area.
Siaka Camara, 25, is being sought by investigators.
It is alleged that:
- he duped a woman, 23, into providing money for what was alleged to be a condominium purchase
- when she realized her mistake, she tried to get her money back
- he assaulted her
- he then forced her to withdraw more money, give it to him, with the threat of further violence
Police are warning the public not to approach this suspect as he is violent and dangerous.
Police believe there may be more victims.
