On Wednesday, April 2, 2014, at 10:30 a.m., in the media gallery at headquarters, the Toronto Police Service will be informing the public about the arrest of a husband and wife in an Elder Abuse/Fraud investigation.
It is alleged that a woman, 94, was defrauded of her life savings by this couple.
The woman, and people who brought the matter to the attention of police, will be present at the news conference.
